Philip S.Hoffman

After last weeks shocking news I decided I would pay tribute to Philip Seymour Hoffman by doing his portrait.

I thought i'd draw it in Al hirschfelds honor a bit because he (as did PSH, in my opinion)  personified Manhattan and theatre.

I did these a while ago for a dutch ad agency. They actually asked me to do some storyboard sketches in this style. not because they wanted to eventually use illustration for this job but just to get the comical essence of the campaign across.

Hi there! So here's the first post on this new blog. Im actually already using blogger for my urban sketches. This one I'll be using for my illustration work. Either commissioned or free.
Most of the stuff I do is digital...Every now and again though...I try to put in some actual brush or pencil drawings in there... Im spending way to much time behind a computerscreen!
